Photo Gallery App Privacy Policy

Welcome to our Photo Gallery App! This app is designed to provide you with convenient photo and video management tools. Core media processing for browsing, organizing, and editing photos and videos is primarily performed locally on your device, keeping your media content under your control.

We understand the importance of privacy. Photo Gallery does not upload your photo or video files to our servers. To provide non-personalized advertising, app analytics, crash diagnostics, and stability improvements, Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google Analytics may process limited device information, app interaction data, diagnostic data, and related identifiers. When you buy or restore Photo Gallery Pro, we also keep a record of that Google Play order. This policy explains that processing in more detail.

1. Information Collection

Photo Gallery does not upload your photo or video files to our servers. When providing core media management features, the App accesses and processes the media content you authorize locally on your device. In addition, third-party services may process limited technical and usage data to support advertising, analytics, crash diagnostics, and stability improvements. Specifically:

  • Photo and Video Files: Photos and videos that you authorize Photo Gallery to access are primarily read and processed locally on your device. We do not upload your photo or video files to our servers or provide that media content to Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, or Google Analytics for advertising or app analytics.
  • Media Metadata: The App may locally read metadata associated with photos and videos, such as capture time, dimensions, file information, or geolocation, to provide organization, search, and display features. This media metadata is not uploaded to our servers as part of those core functions.
  • App Usage and Diagnostic Data: Google Analytics may process app usage and feature interaction events, app lifecycle information, device and app technical information, app-instance and device-related identifiers, and, where applicable, purchase-related events and coarse location information. The specific data processed depends on our Analytics configuration and enabled features and is used to understand feature usage and improve the App experience. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash, application not responding, and non-fatal error information, related diagnostic information, device and app technical information, and installation identifiers for troubleshooting and stability improvements.
  • Advertising-Related Data: The App displays non-personalized ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses, app interaction information, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for ad delivery and measurement, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, analytics, and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads are not targeted based on your past behavior or an interest profile.
  • Purchase and Order Information: When you purchase or restore Photo Gallery Pro, we receive and keep a record of that Google Play order, which may include the order number, the product purchased, purchase and refund status, the transaction amount and currency, and the country or region of the transaction. We never receive or store your payment card details. Purchase credentials are stored in encrypted form and are never displayed in full.

2. Information Use

We do not use your photos, videos, or the media content within them for advertising, marketing, or profiling, and we do not sell your photo or video content to third parties.

The App and its integrated third-party services may process limited technical and service data to:

  • Provide and maintain App features;
  • Display and measure advertising;
  • Analyze App usage and feature interactions;
  • Diagnose crashes, errors, and stability issues;
  • Prevent fraud and abuse and protect service security; and
  • Verify Google Play purchases and help with purchase, refund, and support enquiries; and
  • Improve the App experience.

Core media processing for browsing, organizing, and editing your photos and videos is primarily performed locally on your device.

3. Information Security

We take data security seriously and use reasonable measures to protect data processed by the App, including:

  • Local Media Processing: Photo Gallery performs core photo and video processing locally on your device, and we do not upload your photo or video files to our servers.
  • Access Permissions: The App only accesses your photos and video files with your authorization and does not access your media content without permission.
  • Encryption: When the App or its integrated services need to transmit technical and service data, encryption protocols such as HTTPS are used to protect data in transit.
  • Purchase and Order Data: Purchase credentials are stored in encrypted form, are never displayed in full, and are accessible only to authorised administrators.
  • Data Backup: We recommend that you regularly back up your data to prevent data loss due to device damage or loss.
  • User Control: You can manage and delete the photos and video files processed in the App at any time, keeping your media content under your control.
  • Device Security: We recommend that you set up password, fingerprint, or facial recognition security measures on your device to further protect your data.

4. Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob: The App uses Google AdMob to display non-personalized ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses, app interaction information, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for ad delivery and measurement, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, analytics, and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads are not targeted based on your past behavior or an interest profile. This processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and your privacy choices.
  • Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash, application not responding, non-fatal error, and related diagnostic, device, app technical, and installation identifier information to investigate app crashes and improve stability. We use Google Analytics for app feature analytics. Google Analytics may process app usage and feature interaction events, app lifecycle information, device and app technical information, app-instance and device-related identifiers, and, where applicable, purchase-related events and coarse location information. The specific data processed depends on our Analytics configuration and enabled features and is used to understand feature usage and improve the App experience. We do not sell your photo or video content or provide your media content to these third-party services for advertising analytics. Third-party processing of technical and service data is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable law.

5. User Rights

You can control the media content that Photo Gallery accesses and processes locally on your device. You can also manage your data and privacy choices through device settings and the privacy controls provided by relevant third-party services. Specifically:

  • Right of Access: You can view and manage the photos and video files that the App accesses locally on your device at any time.
  • Right of Correction: You can edit and change the content of photos and video files at any time.
  • Right of Deletion: You can delete unnecessary photos and video files at any time so that the related local media data is no longer retained.
  • Right of Data Portability: You can back up photos and video files to other devices or storage media at any time.
  • Privacy Choices: Depending on your region and device configuration, you may manage advertising and related data processing choices through device advertising settings or Google privacy controls.

Additionally, the App provides search and organization tools to help you manage and find photos and video files more efficiently. You can organize your files using tags, albums, dates, and more.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Local Media Data: Photo Gallery does not store your photos or videos on our servers. Photos, videos, and local media data created by the App remain on your device until you modify, move, or delete them through the App or your device.
  • Local App Data: Some app settings, album configurations, or other feature data may be stored locally on your device. You can clear this data through features provided by the App or Android system settings.
  • Third-Party Service Data: Retention periods and deletion mechanisms for data processed by Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google Analytics are determined by those services, our configuration, and applicable law.
